It’s 3:40am and I can’t sleep!! And I need to be at Orchard at 10:30 later… gah.

I hope someone adopts the kitten soon!! Not because I am desperate to get rid of it as someone suggested or that there’s a catch (it’s a KITTEN – what catch could there be! wtf?), but because I really have no time and no space for another cat in my small home.

I can’t afford sleepless nights & staying alert 24/7 to make sure Maomao, Kitty & the new kitten gets along. I didn’t sleep properly for almost 2 weeks when Kitty first came, and now that I’m working, that is simply not an option anymore.

And of course, it’s exponentially harder for kittens to find homes as they grow older. So it’s best for him (and for me) that he finds a good home asap!

It’s adapting really well now. Still kinda scared when it sees the other furballs, but he’s coping like 10x better than Kitty! Btw I rarely refer to dogs/cats as it (I prefer him/her), but I have no clue what gender it is… so… =\

Oh and I’m kinda glad that I have the bf’s DSLR with me. I think it helps that the kitten’s photos are awesome and brings out his cuteness which increases his adoptability.

Oh and I managed to take a self-shot with the bf’s DSLR. Haha milestone!! It’s hard to hold it with one hand can! Frickin heavy!!

Feeling hungry and restless. But mac will take too long, and by the time I finish eating, I will regret 1) Not sleeping, 2) Spending $.

So. Meh. Toodles.

I don’t want to blog for the sake of blogging but something is better than kosong, so nar! Random photo taken 1 month back. Me looking like mouse!

Was wearing a rose printed dress I bought from a blogshop! Nice prints but bad cutting. So damn tight at the rib area. I could barely breathe although I’m like how bony.

I looked quite fascinated although I was eating this:

It was some burger place near Coronation Plaza. I chose to replace my buns with rice… the meal was quite blah. Not worth the price tag.

And for the next random update: lookie what I did to my furball! Can I still call him that?

I have no idea how kwa kwa kwa sounds but it just seems like a type of laugh appropriate when looking at photos such as the above.

He looks like a ginormous black lizard with a hairy head la wahahhaha!

Had to stop shaving him when I was almost done cos it started raining and NOWAI I wanna shave him at home, with his massive furfall and all. *cue nightmares of sweeping and vacuuming*

I hate making him so fugly! But the muchkins was having a major case of ticks. Found about 8 per tick searching session over around 5 sessions, which would make his bodeh a tick country of about 50.

Ew.

Thought he was Wendy Certified Tick Free ™ after many thorough searches & tick shampoos & tick powders, but adult ticks were appearing one each day on my room walls. FRICKIN GROSS.

So ya la, bye bye fur it was.

Ok I realise I haven’t updated my blog in a while and this is due to a variety of reasons, namely:

1. Bf is now too lazy to bring out his cam to take photos.
2. I am now deeply dissatisfied with the photos taken by my compact camera.
3. I have bad skin!!

Yah they all revolve around the lack of photos because I can’t blog without photos!! Proof as follows below.

As you can see my condition is pretty critical. Without photos there is no focal point and I don’t know what to write about anymore!

It’s not that things haven’t been happening. I have attended a no. of gatherings, cut my hair, had a life in general, but the moments of this life in question has not been captured by a camera therefore I don’t feel compelled to write about it.

Well I could write about how I’m planning to bathe maomao in about 10 minutes, after which I’m going to rush to Holland V to wax my upper lip and sideburns for the heck of it (not that I have ghastly sideburns but did you know that it was even possible!?), after which I am going to repair the bf’s earphones at some place in Queenstown, after which I’m going to dress up and make up for the bf’s dinner ceremony. BUSY BEE IS ME.

The dinner ceremony is going to be quite a fancy affair, by the sound of how the bf is describing it to me. It’s going to be a long table setup – which is kinda intimidating esp if I have to sit opp the bf. There’s also some happy hour component where people are supposed to walk around and make polite conversation while pretending not to be terrified… wait that’s just me.

I hope I’m not too awkward with the talking and mingling thingies later on hur hur. *nervous laugh* And I hope my dress won’t stick out like a sore thumb (as per bf’s instructions wtf).

RAMBLING IS SO LIBERATING WAHAHHAA.

For me, Christmas pretty much means dinner with the boyfriend or something like that. Not because I’m antisocial, but because there are no gatherings to attend anyway. Because I don’t know anyone.

Parties/gatherings are fun, but time with the bf is always great. I’m happy spending the day either way.

… But this year, people around me have suddenly and simultaneously decided that Christmas should be celebrated. It’s always like that one la. Either nobody asks me to go out at all, or everyone asks me to go out at the same time. Zzz.

Xmas Eve is good so far. Dinner and drinks with the bf’s friends.

Xmas Day itself though, is going to be a little bit of a headache. There’s a family buffet going on from 3 – night at Bukit Batok, the bf’s family’s picnic from afternoon – night at West Coast (which includes potluck), and my friend’s house party from 6 – night at Seng Kang (also includes potluck).

And the mum is going off to Beijing in the evening so I’ll probably have to help her with some stuff. This also means that Maomao will be alone at home so I can’t leave him for too long else he’ll pee the house down in emo bitterness (true story).

Have decided to go for all 3 gatherings since 2 are family-related and I’ve already told my friend I would go.

I’ll have to somehow magically prepare something that will not spoil or taste awful when cold and is not difficult to bring all around Singapore. Oh my.

The travelling will probably kill me. West Coast to Seng Kang, anyone? 74 minutes, says Gothere.sg. And then there’s the travelling back home part… ha, ha, ha.

Ok I’ve had it up to here (gestures to chin level) with the stupid default smilies for Windows Live Writer! Seriously wtf with creepy smiles like this –> Whotf smiles like that!? I would absolutely run if I saw someone giving me that expression.

I wish there was a way to change the default way a : ) converts to a smiley but before I figure out how to do that, I’ve installed a painfully troublesome but necessary plugin to uncreepify myself. I can now smile semi-normally like this by inserting an image every time I feel like typing : ) –>

Which sucks. So will someone tell me how to change the default : ) pics plz. T_T
