Remember the little kitten that came my house 2 weeks ago? Tomorrow, someone will be coming to adopt him… hopefully it’ll be successful and both of them will go back together happily and have a great life together.

I think I may be secretly hoping deep deep inside that the adoption isn’t successful, because then little meow will stay with me! ♥ But seriously, no la. It’s just an unrealistic wish. I can’t keep him… It’s not fair either if I do, cos I spend most of the day at work anyway.

And hai, Kitty & him seem to have some grudge carried over from their previous lives. They cannot get along, period. They are so hostile towards each other! The small kitten seems to be having the upper hand, the last time I checked. He singlepaw-edly managed to scare Kitty (who is a full-grown very strong adult cat by now) out of the house by being all intimidating.

Ok going back to the small meow topic, they grow unbelievably fast!! And eat unbelievably damn a lot too while they’re doing the growing thing.

He eats almost 2 cans of cat food every day, which is more of what Mr. Kitty eats can!? I’t’s ridiculous how much food he can stuff in his mouth and belly!

But all that food apparently did not go to waste. He went from looking all goondu like this:

Still goondu face but so much more handsome and grown up! All in 14 days!! He grew almost 2 inches. When he first came, he was exactly the length of my size 37 feet. Sooo fast! Like beansprout!

Sigh. Tonight will be the last time he snuggles up to me while we’re sleeping, and the last day I will get to rub his belly while playing with him and his cute soft paws.

I make it sound all peaches and cream but I also wipe his butt & clean his shit every day with baby wipe ok. And I have scratches and teeth marks from my ankle up to my hips cos he mistakes my leg for a toy when he gets bored.

So kitties are not all sunshine and fun. But how can I not love him anyway.

I will miss him muchies. Hope his owner will give him all the love she has and more. Muacks sweetie, goodbye forever. May I always have a place in your heart!

It’s 3:40am and I can’t sleep!! And I need to be at Orchard at 10:30 later… gah.

I hope someone adopts the kitten soon!! Not because I am desperate to get rid of it as someone suggested or that there’s a catch (it’s a KITTEN – what catch could there be! wtf?), but because I really have no time and no space for another cat in my small home.

I can’t afford sleepless nights & staying alert 24/7 to make sure Maomao, Kitty & the new kitten gets along. I didn’t sleep properly for almost 2 weeks when Kitty first came, and now that I’m working, that is simply not an option anymore.

And of course, it’s exponentially harder for kittens to find homes as they grow older. So it’s best for him (and for me) that he finds a good home asap!

It’s adapting really well now. Still kinda scared when it sees the other furballs, but he’s coping like 10x better than Kitty! Btw I rarely refer to dogs/cats as it (I prefer him/her), but I have no clue what gender it is… so… =\

Oh and I’m kinda glad that I have the bf’s DSLR with me. I think it helps that the kitten’s photos are awesome and brings out his cuteness which increases his adoptability.

Oh and I managed to take a self-shot with the bf’s DSLR. Haha milestone!! It’s hard to hold it with one hand can! Frickin heavy!!

Feeling hungry and restless. But mac will take too long, and by the time I finish eating, I will regret 1) Not sleeping, 2) Spending $.

2 month old tabby kitten up for adoption!! Very cute & sweet… not sure if it’s a boy or girl. Eats wet cat food. Toilet training him/her now, should be pretty fast before he gets the hang of it.

I can’t keep him cos I already have a cat & a dog… so please help if u can! Ask your friends/family!

Only they are capable of capturing the details of kitty’s exquisite fur!! And do the background blurring thingy that makes normal photos look so cluttered.

I know I sound like a complete nubshit, but that’s only cos I really am one. Aha but I know the background blurring thing is apeture-related so there!

Ah but even the photos taken by a complete nubshit like me are so much better than those by my Canon compact cam (which I have stopped using after seeing the awesome photos taken by DSLRs).

Anyway, 恭喜发财 to everyone who’s celebrating Chinese New Year! I had a really busy 3 days running around to many, many, many locations for house visiting. It’s finally Day 4 and rest time.

Went shopping with the bf today for some work clothes. We were at Vivo but I couldn’t find anything from Zara/Mango/Tangs/etc. Instead I managed to get stuff I liked from good ol’ Jurong Point. Auntie evolution… has it begun already!?

Hehehe I like. I’m into vintagey things and florals nowadays, which is making the bf accuse me of becoming an auntie. WTF! That man does not appreciate fashion. But seriously I was quite bothered by what he said haaa. Florals = old meh?

You know why it’s disturbing? Because you see so many aunties walking around in their auntie garb and they are really trying hard to be fashionable. They are completely and tragically oblivious. Therefore aunties do not know that they are aunties!!! And therefore I will not know if I am already one. Ahhh. *shivers in fear*
