Went for lunch with my dad at Parsley and Thyme, which is located along a row of shophouses at Kampong Bahru road.
There were around 3 tables with diners when we arrived. Upon ordering, the waiter (owner?) told us that we would have to wait for a while, as there was only 1 chef in the kitchen today.
We were fine with that, so we waited.
After a short wait, our Smoked Duck Salad ($12) arrived, and my dad really loved it. It was refreshing and light, perfect for the hot weather nowadays.
Our mains arrived a while later. We both chose the Angus Beef Tenderloin ($38). Mine was medium, while my dad’s was well done.
Unfortunately, my photography puts the dish to shame. The steak was done very nicely, tender and full of flavour. There was a bit of brie (I think) on top of the steak which enhanced the flavour of the meat well.
The total bill came up to $58 thanks to the Entertainer’s Voucher 1-for-1 mains deal. It was good value for what we had.
Hello! :) Welcome to my blog, where I sacrifice precious time from my important life, to write about exactly how I achieve the exquisite balance between napping & watching Korean dramas.
(Just kidding... Or am I?)
