We’re babysitting Waylah for our friends for 2 months while they’re out of the country and it has been so fun.
She’s a really gentle, sweet and obedient girl… a huge difference from my boisterous and quite rebellious Maomao. Both are lovable in their own ways, but Waylah is definitely a breeze to take care of in comparison. Haha.
It’s our last week with her (sniff) so we decided to bring her for a swim, which we’ve heard that she really loves!
We chose Sunny Heights (formerly K9 Kulture) because it was near to where we live, and also because I don’t know where else is available, haha. ^^;;
It was a weekday afternoon, which meant that we had the entire pool(s) all to ourselves for 90% of the time we were there. We did meet another couple with a friendly 2 year old dog, and the dogs played together for a while before the couple had to leave.
Here she is having fun playing fetch with a coconut husk which the other couple ingeniously brought to the pool.
We had a great 1 hour there, it was well worth the $16 we paid! I do wonder how they sustain the costs of running a pool when it’s probably empty on most weekdays… but I do hope they manage to make ends meet; it is a great way for dogs to take a dip in a safe environment and clean waters (compared to our dirty beaches)!
She was exhausted by the time we left the pool, and snoozed in the car while we drove home. :)
