Got the Lyla Paige Dress from Love Bonito! Not that the name matters; every dress has some random name attached to it, like Elizabeth Rose Shift Tunic, or Heather Feather Flouncy Skirt… or something. Ah /shrug. Marketing shmarketing.

Chatter aside, it’s quite a nice dress IRL. The mesh part is soft and feels comfortable. But I have doubts about how it will hold up both against my washing machine, and on my hanger.
It’s a nice basic black piece for my work wardrobe though (which is seriously limited!).

Bought Skin Lightening Soap from Perfect Potion at 313! Haaa the lengths i go to. Freckles n scars begone pls.
The text says:
This specially formulated soap cotains glabridin from LICORICE root extract. It is known to inhibit the production of melanin, the substance that causes darkening of the skin and age spots. Licorice is the most effective, natural ingredient for skin lightening.
Now doesn’t that sound promisings! Oh well. We’ll see if it ends up just one of my many failed attempts. /jaded

Update on 9 June 2011 (1.5 months later): First thing I notice is that this soap bar’s size gets smaller much quicker than those I have used in the past. Is it less “saturated” or something? I don’t know but I preferred having my soaps last for months.
I like that this has small beads within the soap that exfoliates my skin as I clean it.
However, I don’t notice any lightening effect, nor do I like how the soap really irritates my sensitive skin, possibly because it contains acid (the horror – I knew before buying it but I was determined).
Above you will find my non-sinful indulgence for today!
Minnie n I had lunch at Ootoya just now after gym, n I actually consciously chose something healthy! I’m so proud of myself teeheehee. I had cold soba (awesome), mini maguro don, n we shared torotoroni soup.
Everything was yums! Amazingly, after I ate everything I ordered + a quarter of minnie’s salad cos she couldn’t finish, I still didn’t feel absolutely stuffed. In fact I’m already feeling a bit hungry now 2 hrs later. Nouuu hehe. /sheepish
Um. Haha. /awkward
I’m not sure how to start but well hi. As you may or may not know, my original blog was accidentally deleted with a single checkbox and 2 years worth of entries disappeared in a nanosec.
…no I’m not the brightest crayon in the box.
I attempted to restore it, but it was work, and frankly I was feeling rather nonplussed. I would have imagined someone else in my shoes being slightly more frantic-flustered-flabbergasted, but all that was going through my mind was in the sphere of meh-ok.
I went on to Tumblr for a little while and it was completely liberating at first, with all the re-blogging and whimsical pictures. But scrapbook ≠ blog and the stars beckoned me back here, to Square 1. Full circle. /ohm
Now that we are marginally less awkward compared to 5 paragraphs ago, kthx n bai.
PS. The entries before this are those imported from aforementioned Tumblr blog.
