I am having a bad hair year (or perhaps life). Can someone tell me why my hair doesn’t look like this?

For the few deluded souls out there who have no idea how I look like, the girl in the above photo is not me. I’m a far cry from Her Hair Goddessness. Bawl.

So. Is this a sign from God that I should start buying wigs? No matter what I do (e.g. dye, perm, blah blah), I just cannot achieve the type of hair I want. :( I want this hair colour and length and curls and texture and bounciness pls k thx bai.
