Choccies
Apr 23rd
Had dinner with the Minnie last evening at Manhattan Fish Market at Central! Hehe she gave me a treat because she wuvs me. Muacks!
After dinner, we went to this store that sells Jap snacks and I got myself 2 chocolatos.
Super yummy!
Been craving for nice melt-in-your-mouth chocolate for ages… and this kinda stops the craving for a while, but what’ll really hit the spot are the super velvety dark chocolate with creamy centers…
*fantasizes*
Lunch in 10 minutes
Apr 16th
I came home a hungry girl this afternoon and managed to make pasta within 10 minutes! I used to take eons to make any one dish, so this must be some sort of a milestone.
Granted, I used pre-made sauce but! It was nice and that’s all that matters.
10 minutes, y’all!
You don’t realize what you have until…
Apr 12th
I realize that sometimes, it doesn’t take losing someone to realize how important he is. Sometimes, all it takes is a closer look at what I already have.
And there he is… Right in front of me.
P/s: I’m trying to drain my iPhone batt, which is possibly the most umromantic reason ever for this quite romantic post. The battery is really quite resilient. It seems determined to stay at 4% for the rest of eternity.
Funny how it dropped from 47 to 30 lightning quick when I actually needed to use the phone just now.
Nice one, murphy.
So on to even more mundane stuff (omg is that even possible?). Lemme share some inane tidbits about me and my life that you may or may not know.
1.I have a frosted winnie the pooh mug which I love but is too deep to wash properly with my hands.
2. I hate unclogging sinks and drains. With a VENGEANCE.
3. As a girl, I never brought tissue around until the boyfriend said, “how can a girl not have tissue?”. So I stopped being a girl.
4. I will never cut my hair above shoulder-length. Ever.
5. I don’t watch the TV or listen to the radio or read the papers at all. Most of the time, I get updated with world events when I see or hear other people talk about them. Oops.
6. I haven’t woken up before 7 in 7 years.
7. I cook a limited number of dishes very well. Really.
8. I only dated the boyfriend 6 days before we were officially together as a couple.
9. I chronically get lost. I’m pretty certain it can be classified as an illness. Lostingitis or something. (3%! Yes!)
10. I had braces from when I was 13, all the way to my first year in JC. I hated them. (2%!)
So that’s 10 things about me hur hur.
Before I go, I would just like to mention that I haven’t forgotten the original (alleged) purpose of this post:
Chef Wendy
Apr 10th
So I got hungry at night and decided to whip up something tasty with my newly bought mini non-stick skillet!
I used:
- Wholegrain mustard
- Fried egg
- Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Tomato
- Lettuce
I really love my cute little skilet haha. Perfect for frying 1 egg. Haven’t figured out what else to use it for… but probably sauteing garlic and onions or something.

This is how I laid out the ingredients:

I put way too much parmesan cos of the packet kinda.. slipped, but it turned out to be a very delicious mistake.
Toasted it in the oven and waited for the cheese to melt. Yummylicious!
P/s: If you do attempt to make it, be sure to 1) Cook the egg thoroughly. The yolk has to be solid. 2) Use larger tomatoes or dry them with a paper towel before arranging. These are to un-soggify the sandwich. No prizes for guessing how I know, cough. *wipes runny yolks off tabletop*
