And only one site which offered the kind of thing I'm looking for (the same one your theme came from, I saw it just a minute ago XD) Coincidence? I've just spent 2 days looking for a theme I really liked, and only just found one, on the Scribble Scratch website. I'll be installing it tomorrow XD I've been so tempted to attempt my own more whimsical theme(s) after this experience. It's the first time I've used WP for a personal blog rather than a shared and more neutral one. Most of my friends are on Blogger though, it seems. Maybe you're right and it *is* a demographic thing (I'm 20 and my friends are teens and 20-somethings). Anyway, sorry this was so rambly. I’ve just spent 2 days looking for a theme I really liked, and only just found one, on the Scribble Scratch website. I agree, such themes are only created when they are specifically commisioned. Maybe, and just maybe, it's not a bad thing, since such sites have a strong identity. Maybe most of the themes being developed (free or commercial) must attract a broad audience and that leads to them being developed in a certain neutral position.
