My laptop is dead.
My laptop’s fan is officially spoilt. Sigh. It gets burning hot after about 30 minutes or so. It’s so hot that I can’t even type more than 2 sentences without airing my hands.
Acer’s hotline is ignoring me. I’ve sent an email, but goodness knows when that’ll be replied.
I guess I’ll just take it to the service center tomorrow… but I’m feeling kinda reluctant cos I dunno how long they will take to repair it.
Maybe I should just buy those laptop stands with built-in fans like Juzzywuzzy recommended.
Bah, technology loathes me.

We are in the same boat, my baby vaio is in hospital for a week now and still no answer. I hope she is alright. If you can bear to, just send it to the service center.

You should get a laptop cooler. When the laptop gets too hot, the cpu will slow down to almost a stop and you will not be able to do nothing till it cool down.

Case of overheating I think. Experienced this problem before, I guess you need to have your fan changed.

my laptop fan has also broken down since ard 1 yr ago I guess.
But too lazy to go repair it that I just resort to blasting my room fan at it whenever it gets hot. haha!
