I received my first set of ads last week from Nuffnang. They’re scheduled to run today… and I should be excited, but something kinda killed it. Brutally. Their website was down for more than 6 hours just now. From 1 am, until now… 7:21 am. Yes, I didn’t sleep. =.= No, not because of this.

Anyway, their website being down and all should be none of my business, as long as I get my ka-ching, BUT, it made my entire blog unable to load because their banner was in my header code (which loads first), which means that if it can’t get “called”, nothing else can appear. Which inevitably makes it my business.

Hai, anyway, the reason you can even see this post is because I’ve removed the leaderboard ad for now. I hope it wasn’t a maintenance thing, because I didn’t get any notification at all. Which, I infer, means that their site just crashed.

Hope they do something about their site stability… I don’t want my site becoming a blank page because of their server issues man. That’s terribly unprofessional and… honestly, quite annoying.

If they want us to have the codes on our site, then they should realise making sure the codes actually work and don’t screw up the entire site is kinda crucial.

The hours that it was down was in the wee hours of the morning in Singapore, but the Internet isn’t our local kopitiam. It’s kind of the world wide web.

I’m disappointed. :(

edit #1: It’s 7:35 am and Nuffnang is up. Still. Well, on the bright side, it is up.

edit #2: 8:19 am. It’s down. Not again. How many times am I going to have to edit my header.php and upload it? What about people who have other advertisers on their blog? Got compensation for loss of revenue? No… cos it’s in their disclaimer. Ha ha.

edit #3: 8:30 am. I’m going to have breakfast. Meh. This is ridiculous.
