2008 marks the first CNY where I didn’t have any new clothes. Which is sad, cos my excuse to shop has officially expired. But no one noticed. Wendy has much dresses. *glee* :) Was waiting in the living room for my aunts to arrive, and Maomao just lied in my lap looking all forlorn, knowing that everyone was going to go out soon. Awww.

So I went to visit the boyfriend and his family after all my relative-y stuff, and we headed to West Mall to support Jack Neo’s latest endeavour, Ah Long Pte Ltd. Despite the bad reviews, I thought it was a decently entertaining show.

Slap stick, check.
“Hao gong ming” a.k.a. good citizen “do-the-right-thing” content, check.
Cringe-worthy morally righteous teenagers, check.
Referrence to MM, check.
Repeated jokes from “Just Follow Law”, check.
Shameless idea copying from My Wife is A Gangster 3 / Marrying the Mafia, check.
Exceptionally weird and abrupt ending, check.

Why do I still like it then? I also dunno. Oh well.

Last incoherent point of this very disorganised post is that my ang bao revenue has decreased. So many $12′s this year… they all used to be $20′s… is it because I’m getting older?! Nothing has changed for me financially y’noe! I’m still a poor student! :( *sniffles pitifully*
